Hope For Today! May 10

Today is going to be a great day!

God’s mercy is new every morning. Lamentations 3:23

Give God first place in your life. Make time for God everyday. The Bible says, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matthew‬ ‭6:33‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The enemy has really been attacking me in subtle ways to steal my peace and joy. I finished my manuscript for my first book and it went to the editor about two weeks ago and since then I really have to stay committed to my routine and setting goals for my future and my God-given dreams. I think it’s really important to stay plugged in with people if you are a person that struggles with isolation and depression. I have to give myself my own advice and say, “Today is going to be a great day. God’s mercy is new every day and God will give me the grace to embrace this day with peace and joy.”

Stay on a routine

Read God’s Word daily.

Exercise or walk everyday.

Declare who you are in Christ out loud everyday.

Journal what you are grateful for everyday

Listen to inspirational messages all through the day.

Listen to praise and worship everyday.

Eat healthier everyday.

Smile, laugh and have fun everyday.

I think I am going through this (treasures hidden in the darkness-secret riches.) “And I will give you treasures hidden in the darkness— secret riches. I will do this so you may know that I am the Lord, the God of Israel, the one who calls you by name.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭45:3‬ ‭NLT‬‬

because since I started Hope For Today! I have been asked what do you do when everything is coming against you? It is right now for me, it might be because of lack of socializing with a positive group that I was connected with for ten weeks on a weekly basis and that being over. That was a season and this is the next season. It’s not bad it’s just growing in Christ and going back to the source of your strength. I am trusting God but I am also realizing I need to be connected with like minded people that will help lift you up also. If you have to get reconnected to something positive and inspirational then don’t put it off. You have something to offer this world and the enemy does not want you to be that light to the world. Believe in yourself no matter what your diagnosis or struggle might be. Believe that God is with you and will show you hidden treasures in the darkness, secret riches. He will do this so that you will know that He is God. That is a beautiful promise to stay anchored to, that God will bring glory out of your pain. Take your mess and turn it into a message you can share to help other people feel like they are not alone in this world, give Hope. God only wants the best for His children, as much as we love our children and only want the best for them, His love is so much greater than that. It’s hard to even imagine His unconditional love for us. God does not want us to live a life in the darkness but if you can give God the glory on the other side of the darkness or even in the midst of it at times it might be to give Hope to someone and make their life a little better. Trust Him through it all because He will direct your path and He is faithful. Stand in Faith
