Dream Big! Our God is Bigger!

Moments of Hope!

Self-discipline is the key to taking unstoppable action to your dreams. Here’s how to cultivate the persistence and resilience you need to achieve your goals and create the life you desire.

What is your definition of success?

In the last month my view of success has completely changed. For some reason seeing that example of the $100 bill, and the hundred dollars never losing its value, it all came together for me. God doesn’t make garbage and I am a Child of God with unlimited value. I finally got it. I am good enough just as I am. I believe in me for the first time in my life and it has changed my perspective on everything. I have always had Impossible God-Given Dreams inside of me like the “Dream Big! Our God is Bigger! Institute but because I am bipolar I never shared it with anyone but Todd. Todd believes that I can do anything I set my mind to if it’s in line with God’s Will. The letter I wrote to myself dated, 2/3/23 I was totally in faith believing that anything is possible, that’s why I wrote it.

We where traveling after having a wonderful day with the kids on Thursday, as we where driving the song Angels Among Us by Alabama played from our play list. It’s so incredible how God just knows when you need to hear something and it speaks to your spirit in that moment. The lyrics are …

“I believe there are angels among us, sent down to us from somewhere up above, they come to you and me in our darkest hours to show us how to live, to teach us how to give, to guide us with the light of love, when life held troubled times and had me down on my knees there’s always been someone to come along and comfort me, a kind word from a stranger to lend a helping hand, a phone call from a friend just to say I understand, but ain’t it kind of funny at the dark end of the road that someone lights the way with just a single ray of hope.”

Maybe you and I can be that ray of hope for someone today. I share my blog to hopefully give hope to someone out there that life is hard, and we don’t know why? But God does? I finally said it to Tiffany the other day in a coaching session, I guess deep down I was bitter at God for being Bipolar. You want honest? That is it, I have had that deep down inside of me all these years and that has brought me to such a time as this. Todd & I have done everything this world has taught to be successful so now I am following God’s lead on His way to be successful. I am done investing money in anything anymore. If God wants Dream Big! Our God is Bigger! giving hope to the hurting, bringing emotional wellness to others as He has for me, then it will happen when He wants it to. God has far exceeded my expectations already. This all started in January 2022 from deep depression and I wanted to have something to do with my time and I choose to get up and start a daily routine and look what God has done. I’m believing for so much more in His timing. Remember, my priorities are God, Todd, Nick, Zach, Julia and then all the rest and this does not fall under the God category. This is all the rest. I will not lose sight of that.

Why bother? In the beginning, all of your efforts may feel insignificant, so why bother! What’s simple to do is also simple not to do. In January 2022, when I began these little habits, I never dreamed it would forever change my life. I never imagined the monumental change they would produce in my life and ultimately, enable me to live my dreams. The biggest difference between dreamers and dream-achievers is that those who achieve their aspirations are willing to do what others are not willing to do. Most people are not willing to get up in the morning at 5:00 a.m, go on the elliptical, listen to messages while working out, reading positive affIrmations out loud, spending time being thankful in prayer, writing down what I’m grateful for, then shower, get dressed, and zoom with Melissa Bruno, my friend, Divine Connection and Accountability partner. We do this every morning to stay on course to help us to keep God first place in our lives.

Honestly, when I don’t have that time with God at 5:00am in the morning, I actually lose the anointing because I don’t have anything to share from my heart. This is my time with God! It works awesome for me, in the quiet of the morning with the birds chirping in the presence of our creator. It’s a gift, I believe, God is giving to me as I put Him first place in my life. I am realizing when I don’t put Him first place I don’t have anything to write.

Remember: The secret of your future is hidden in your daily routine. Change your routine, and you can change your life. It’s definitely worth bothering with these habits because little by little adds up to a lot.

“Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.” Matthew 6:4 NIV

Enjoy the Journey!
