Hope For Today! The Best Is Yet To Come!

Love For Enemies! 💕

God will change your circumstances, but He’ll change you first.

I thought I was simply developing a DREAM ROUTINE back in January 2022 to get my mind off of how messed up my life had become, God was leading me to becoming a better me.

As I began to spend time with God daily, I began to fall in love with Him more. I began to desire intimacy with Him and I began to hear His voice more clearly.

As I began to listen to faith-building messages daily, my mind was being transformed by the renewing of it. (Romans 12:2). My faith was growing (faith comes by hearing: Rom. 10:17) and God was birthing dreams inside of me.

It was in June 2020 on a Hope for Depression zoom class that I heard a message about unforgiveness.  Rebecca shared how unforgiveness is like a cancer that will eat away at you through bitterness, anger, resentment, rage, depression and so many other symptoms. It was on that Tuesday night in late June 2020, during the pandemic, that I realized that was the root of my major depressive and black whole I was living in since December 2017. Todd fell on the ice at church where he worked one early Sunday morning and that accident has forever changed the trajectory of our lives.

I could tell you story after story how we have been wronged by family, friends, the church and acquaintances that has forever changed the course of our families lives. From having to sell our beautiful home that we built and lived in for 28 years and thought we would live there forever.  Having the honor and privilege of raising Nick & Zach in such a gorgeous safe haven on the top of a tranquil and peaceful mountain with the most beautiful sunsets on the Blue Mountain.

If there’s one major thing I changed in the last year is praying…

God close the doors that need to be closed and open the doors that need to be opened.

It’s all in our perspective. When God would close a door before I would get all depressed because things never worked out the way they should. But actually, it’s exactly as it should be!  God wants us to just walk down the hall to the next open door that He has waiting for us. Stop fighting God and trust His timing!

It was like an epiphany. I got it!

It’s like the Irealites walking around the same mountain for 40 years.  I feel like I’m finally getting it and I want to share my Breakthrough with other.  I believe that is why God has placed the younger generation on my heart because my depression started at a very young age and it’s taken me this long to get to where I am today.

Hope For Today!

The Best Is Yet To Come!

Don’t waste years of unforgiveness and bitterness steal your beautiful future God so graciously wants to give to you. Everyone is different and has different epiphanies but I believe having a forgiving heart is the number one reason we never have freedom from all our baggage.

Dream Big! Our God is Bigger! 💕

As I began to listen to YouVersion and read my Bible daily, I began to get filled up with the Word of God. As I read success books, an intense desire to do more with my life began to emerge.

As I began writing and reviewing my dreams and goals daily, I started to imagine myself making a difference. I began to wonder if God could use me. I began to think about my future instead of reliving the past or just wondering what the day would bring.

How do we change the world?

Break the stigma of bipolar and live in freedom!

“But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. If someone slaps you on one cheek, turn to them the other also. If someone takes your coat, do not withhold your shirt from them. Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back. Do to others as you would have them do to you. “If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners love those who love them. And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do that. And if you lend to those from whom you expect repayment, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners, expecting to be repaid in full. But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.”

‭‭Luke‬ ‭6‬:‭27‬-‭36‬ ‭NIV‬‬
