Hope For Today! The Best Is Yet To Come!

Start your day off by saying…
Today is going to be a great day!
God’s mercy is new every morning.
Lamination 3:23
God will give you the grace for this day! 🙏

God has really been laying on my heart about forgiveness. We have been wronged by so many and that is what comes up in my spirit when I read this from the scripture of the day in YouVersion.

Never repay evil with evil , but that which is good for one another and for all people. That means our enemies. I don’t know if that is Biblicaly correct. If we asked God to forgive us for what they did to us but they never made things right, they are not my friend. So we got friends and enemies, I believe that we need boundaries in this life and the people we choose to have in our circle of influence.

If someone that has wronged you and does not bring any spiritual or positive value to your life then that is a boundary that you need to make. Cut them out. Is that person making you bitter or better? Are they adding value to your life or taking the life out of you?

Life is to short to spend it with people that don’t bring out the best version of yourself and only want the best things for you out of life that this world can offer you. The enemy lets jealousy and envy destroy family and friendship bonds because of sin in this world.

Todd & I have always tried our best to be true to who we are and what we believe in and instilled in our children those same values. God, Spouse, Children and then all the rest. It’s been a lot of heartache in our 38 years of marriage, but by the grace of God we still have each other.

You can’t take it with you so put your value in the life God has gifted you with. However, good or bad that might be right now and live for the hear and now. The past is gone and today is all we really have. Your character and the lives you touch along the way are the things that are truly important in this life because they have a lasting value on the lives of others. Everyone who has ever wronged us , I think, I can say the root of it was the almighty dollar. The Bible says “The love of money is the root of all evil.” and I believe that to my core.

It started with me as a little girl and is still something I struggle with as far as my value and identity. I know my value and identity is in Christ but to get that from my heart to my head has really, really been hard.

I did not plan to blog at all this morning as we are traveling to Florida but I read my devotions in YouVersion and this was the scripture for the day. As tears flow down my face and my makeup needs to be redone, this is what God laid on my heart. It’s so freeing to be able to cry. It’s actually such a great release.

Todd just said the sunrise is out your window, and it is just beautiful. God is smiling at you today. So if God puts someone on your heart today reach out to them.

How do we change the world?
One act of random kindness at a time!

Enjoy the Journey!
