Hope For Today! April 18

Today is going to be a great day!

Moments Of Hope! Secret Riches!

God’s mercy is new every morning!

Start with God everyday. When a new day begins start with Him. Just give God some time before you give time to anything else. Because you are spending time like money every day that you live, so just make sure you spend it on Him first. A new day begins and you start with God first. I believe you are shaped by what you start your day with. If you start with God by reading His Word and talking to Him in prayer, and just set aside a few minutes to just listen, be silent and meditate on His Word. If something speaks to you, stop and meditate on it. If you rush it you might miss what God is trying to reveal to you in that moment and speak to your heart on that scripture. On other days when you don’t feel that God is speaking to you just be patient, you may not be perceiving that you got anything from that time with God but it might be something you don’t know yet that you need, but God wanted to give it to you before the difficulty came. When that happens it’s amazing how He will bring that scripture back to the forefront of your mind and you will find peace and security in knowing that He is in control. Whatever it may be. God’s Got This!

If you don’t spend time with God every day you are missing out on the chance to receive that days mercies because Lamentations 3 says they are new every morning, they get reset every morning, so you don’t get that days mercies back, they are gone now. There are new mercies tomorrow but you miss out on the chance to get that days mercies and who knows what you might have been able to do with that days mercies.

You can never go back in time and be changed by God if you don’t get it today, it is gone. You have got to keep it in the present tense. So everyday start with God. Put God first place. Wake up and say, “Today is going to be a great day” before you even put your feet on the floor and quote the scripture, “God’s mercies are new every morning.” Lamentations‬ ‭3:23‬ ‭KJV‬‬. Devotion: by Melissa Liggitt

I wanted to share this scripture below it came up in my devotions today.

“Very early on Sunday morning, just at sunrise, they went to the tomb. On the way they were asking each other, “Who will roll away the stone for us from the entrance to the tomb?” But as they arrived, they looked up and saw that the stone, which was very large, had already been rolled aside. When they entered the tomb, they saw a young man clothed in a white robe sitting on the right side. The women were shocked, but the angel said, “Don’t be alarmed. You are looking for Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead! Look, this is where they laid his body. Now go and tell his disciples, including Peter, that Jesus is going ahead of you to Galilee. You will see him there, just as he told you before he died.” The women fled from the tomb, trembling and bewildered, and they said nothing to anyone because they were too frightened. ———- [The most ancient manuscripts of Mark conclude with verse 16:8. Later manuscripts add one or both of the following endings.] [Shorter Ending of Mark] Then they briefly reported all this to Peter and his companions. Afterward Jesus himself sent them out from east to west with the sacred and unfailing message of salvation that gives eternal life. Amen. [Longer Ending of Mark] After Jesus rose from the dead early on Sunday morning, the first person who saw him was Mary Magdalene, the woman from whom he had cast out seven demons. She went to the disciples, who were grieving and weeping, and told them what had happened. But when she told them that Jesus was alive and she had seen him, they didn’t believe her. Afterward he appeared in a different form to two of his followers who were walking from Jerusalem into the country. They rushed back to tell the others, but no one believed them. Still later he appeared to the eleven disciples as they were eating together. He rebuked them for their stubborn unbelief because they refused to believe those who had seen him after he had been raised from the dead. And then he told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone. Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned. These miraculous signs will accompany those who believe: They will cast out demons in my name, and they will speak in new languages. They will be able to handle snakes with safety, and if they drink anything poisonous, it won’t hurt them. They will be able to place their hands on the sick, and they will be healed.””
‭‭Mark‬ ‭16:2-18‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Believe In Miracle! Blessings! Melissa.
