Hope For Today! April 16

Today is going to be a great day!

Moments Of Hope! Secret Riches!

Be still and know that I am God!

When we are overwhelmed and stressed it is challenging to stay centered? It takes great strength to reject worries about the past or fears of the future. It takes strength to be in the moment surrendered and still. But God is in the now, I don’t want to miss it, and I don’t believe you want that either. I’ve discovered that remembering what God has done, thanking Him for it helps me stay grounded.

When we are caught up in the business of life we forget our true role in this life. When we are wrapped up in worrying about the future or are stressed about something we did in the past we do not feel God’s peace. But if we can simply stop and be in the now we can remember Him. In remembering God we come to a point of stillness and it is in our stillness that God comes in. It is in the silence that we hear the whisper of His voice, God’s goodness is all to easy to forget in our noisy, worried world.

Psalms 77:11 provides a great example of this. The psalmist recalls all that the Lord has done and remember not only the good things that happened yesterday but wonderful deeds of long ago.

“But then I recall all you have done, O Lord; I remember your wonderful deeds of long ago.” Psalms‬ ‭77:11‬ ‭NLT‬‬

God, the Holy Spirit develops gratitude in us by reminding us of all He’s done. Maybe you can be grateful today for the conversation you had with a friend or family member. Perhaps gratitude wells up inside of you recalling how God helped you financially or with a health issue. Whether you are going through a hard time or a happy time right this moment, you can always remember what Jesus did for you on the cross. He died to give you eternal life. Take a moment to remember God, let go of the business, let go of worry, recall God’s love and peace, let go of the past and be present with Jesus. Let gratitude fill your heart and give you strength.

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Do not fear, “I Am God”.

“Say to those with fearful hearts, “Be strong, and do not fear, for your God is coming to destroy your enemies. He is coming to save you.”” Isaiah‬ ‭35:4‬ ‭NLT‬‬

God loves you so much. Receive His love and trust Him with your cares and anxieties and it will set you free.

“For with God nothing shall be impossible. Luke‬ ‭1:37‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Believe In Miracles! Blessings! Melissa
